Catherine, at work.

This young lady, still in High School, is Rebecca Murray, long known to our MTAC branch as a solid piano student. She plays a solid violin, as well. She studies both those instruments with Geri Difrancesco, my aunt. She studies voice with Karen Anderson, and sings like a bird!

This fine, scholarly gentleman is John Smalley. It was a surprise to see him. We knew each other in school, at SFSU. He has been studying at Columbia U. in New York, and is finishing his Doctorate in Musicology. Nobody knew he could sing. Well, he sure can sing, and excellently well. He sang Tchaikovsky, in the Russian, which he has also studied. Way to go John!

This is another marvelous soprano from the studio of Karen Anderson. She sang a very humorous number about being a super diva, receiving gobs of accolades and attention, while she knows full well that she's always been tone deaf! I assure you, this woman is NOT tone deaf, nor could anyone that is tone deaf ever do justice to this song.
